The Association is growing fast and offers an increasing range of services. We are the only global, not-for-profit association that focuses exclusively on the field of commercial contracting. It is important to recognize that our global design means we do not operate like most other associations. Our network is based on technology and this brings tremendous benefits in terms of ease of communications and speed of execution - but it doesn't change the fact that the members who gain most are those who are pro-active in seeking help, information or contacts.
Among the services available to you are:
Certification: Professional Certification is offered at four levels (Associate, Member, Certified Member and Fellow).
Research: IACCM has advanced on-line survey tools that result in frequent confidential studies and benchmarks. These include annual studies such as our process and organization benchmark, salary survey and Top Ten Negotiated terms, plus periodic studies in areas like outsourcing, supplier relationship management, negotiation, use of master agreements, analysis of specific terms and market trends.
Training: IACCM offers both on-line and classroom based training. Our unique 'managed learning' program provides all the benefits of traditional correspondence courses, but with instant on-line access and dynamic reporting and monitoring tools. We also run regular live webcasts of around 40 minutes duration, on specific topics of general or strategic interest to our members.
Meetings / Member Networks: Currently groups have formed in the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia. Member meetings in the US and Canada occur in more than 20 major cities and we run regional conferences (the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific). We also offer executive dinners and breakfast meetings sponsored by the Association and Advisory Board members in many other locations.
Communications: Regular monthly newsletter 'Updates' are issued by e-mail. This web site contains a library of articles, recommended reading and presentations with comprehensive search facility; it also has a listing of current job opportunities and on-line certification. We also run regular on-line surveys and studies, resulting in unique research reports on the key topics facing our community.
Work Groups: the Association sponsors cross-company work groups and Communities of Interest to investigate topics of broad interest to the membership. Currently we have groups on risk management, contract management software and negotiations competency, with more than 90 corporations providing work group members and many others providing input.
Help: an important role of the Association is to assist members with answers to business or career related questions. IACCM uses the network of members to help in a wide range of areas and is always pleased to receive requests for help.
Job postings: our web site includes a posting of available jobs, updated regularly and with worldwide coverage.
